Some users have reported an issue in which the iPad will not turn on via the normal power-on (sleep/wake) button. This problem may occur under various circumstances, including when the iPad has been asleep for several hours.
Fix: Users have reported that resetting the iPad by holding down the sleep/wake (power) and home buttons simultaneously for 10-15 seconds resolves this issue and causes the iPad to turn on normally.
