October 16, 2012

How-to

This short article describes how to manage Apple ID settings on iOS devices (iPad, iPod touch and iPhone). Apple ID is a username for using Apple services. If you own and iDevice, you should have an Apple ID.  Here is how to access your Apple ID account info:

  • Launch App Store.
  • Tap the Featured tab.
  • Scroll down to the bottom.
  • Tap your Apple ID and select View Apple ID.

OR

  • Launch Settings app.
  • Tap iTunes & App Stores.
  • Tap your Apple ID and select View Apple ID.

You can now change your account settings. This includes editing your Apple ID (e.g. Apple ID password), payment information and your location. You can manage your Alerts (alerts can be added on iTunes by tapping the Alert Me). You can also subscribe iTunes newsletters.
