Q&A: Can I run iPhone or iPad applications on my computer?

We receive many questions from users regarding the possibility of whether or not apps for the iPhone, iPod, iPad can be installed and run on Windows-based and Mac OSX computers.

The answer is no. These apps that are available via the App Store are designed exclusively for use on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. However many app designers release different versions of their apps for different machines (computers, iOS, Android, etc.). Check with the apps that you want.

    How do you guys feel about the app Rendezvous Point By Binary Paradigm? Is it any good? I hate the free apps and the tom tom gps app is so expensive.

    Rendezvous Point is the best navigation app I have ever used! Love it.
