Currently, iOS devices have room for 20 app icons (plus the ones on the dock) for each screen. Do you want an app-free blank home screen on your iPhone or iPad. By default, your iPad or iPhone screens have the app icons that you installed or that came with your device. If you like simplicity and would like to see your wallpaper clearly, you may try this tip because it is possible to create a blank home screen like the screen below. This tip will tell you how to create an empty/blank home screen. Do not worry; applying this tip will not remove any of your apps and will not change the order or arrangement of your app icons.
There are two ways to do this:
You will need a computer with iTunes installed to be able to do this.
Here is how:
1.Connect your device to your computer with the USB cable and open iTunes.
2.Click on your device name under the Devices menu.
3.Click the Apps menu where you will see all of the apps installed on your device.
4.Click on the plus button. This will create a new home screen page on your device. But for now this page is the last page/screen.
5. Now simply drag the page you just created to the first place. Now Page 1 is a blank screen.
6.Click the Apply button so that these changes happen on your iPad or iPhone.
Now your first screen is blank. No app icons except the ones on the dock.
Method # 2
You do not need a computer for this method. This one requires you to create a folder. Here is how:
1.On your device, press the home button to go to the first screen and put all the apps on the first screen into a folder. Do do this, tap on any app icon until it starts to jiggle, then drop that app onto another one by keeping your finger pressed down on the icon and moving it on the screen. This will create a folder. Now using the same method, place all of the apps into this folder. Press the home button to stop the apps from jiggling.
2. Now move this folder to your second page. To do this, tap and hold on the folder until it starts to jiggle. Now move this to the edge of the screen, you folder will go to the second screen. Then press the home button. If you want, you may take all the apps out of the folder on the second screen or you can keep it like that. Now your first page is blank/empty.
