With all the rumors around the next gen iPhone 7 models, it is interesting to get a sense of what Apple is thinking about the ornamental design when it comes to its core product. In a Patent released, July 12, 2016, D761250, a few concepts that we have heard so far looks to be a possibility.
Starting with an integrated Home button on the device, It is not abundantly clear from the patent diagram if this button is integrated inside the display or is it similar to what we have today for the iPhone 6.
The second and probably most striking is the camera space on the back of the device. It is pretty clear from the space shown that the next generation of iPhones will indeed sport a different camera system. The concept of dual cameras powered by Linx based technology is definitely a possibility
The Third aspect that one can glance from the ornamental design featured in the patent shows a smoother edge or curved edge device. The ports do still show the headphone jack unless we are interpreting this wrong.
