How to Fix Apple’s Error 53 for iPhone 6 when Restore from iTunes

By Andrew Martin 0 comments Last updated February 10, 2016

Earlier this month, we wrote an article on how Apple’s Error 53 is affecting even more iPhone 6 users when they were trying to update their iOS version. The problem was that if you have ever tried to repair internal parts of your iPhone and the Touch ID from unauthorized repair shops, the error will eventually display on your iTunes.

Apple eventually confirms this error and what caused. As the result of media attentions, the company finally release an official guide on how to fix Error 53 for iPhone 6 users.

How to Fix iTunes Error 53

  1. Download the latest version of iTunes for your operating system
  2. Press both Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo
  3. Connect your iPhone to the computer and open iTunes
  4. Click Restore your iPhone

Now the Error 53 should be gone, technically. It’s recommended for users who face this issue to take their iPhone to a nearby Apple Store or any authorized retail store and they will fix it for you.
