Can not return to inbox after doing a search on a specific mail address
I updated to IOS10 this night, and made a search in my email inbox for a specific mail adress this morning.
Then I wanted to return to my inbox, but I can’t! I’m stuck with only the mails from one person….
How can I return to my normal inbox view?

Karen, When you press the “Cancel” button on the top right side after your search , it does not take you back to your inbox? IF not, double press the home button in quick succession. It will show u all your open apps. When you see the mail app, swipe up from the bottom to force quit it. Next time when you open your mail, it should work hopefully.

Thanks! The double swipe worked. There was no cancel button like there usually is on the top right. Just a blank line. Tried to click on it in case it was just invisible but no go.

Same for me, clearly a bug Apple should fix!

Same problem here. Every time I search the cancel and x are high on the screen and can’t back out. 😮

I had same issue with last 9.x version and gave apple feedback – a day later they released Ver 10 and I thought that was a quick fix – same issues with Ver 10 – so looks like we need to use temp fix until the next update.

Same problem here also, the cancel link is too high up and as a result is masked by the email app frame. Pretty stupid design error.

I’ve had the same problem as well since my purchase of the 8 plus. As well as many other issues. Very disappointed with Apple right now.

Same issue on iphone 6 running iOS 11.1.2 so clearly not fixed. Annoying.
