I want to save a photo received in a text message.
I’ve checked this website, and the directions say to click on a blue “i”.
I don’t see that. I also saw something saying to hold down on the photo until options come up.
I tried that and no options appear.
My old iPhone 4s let me save photos from text message, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to save them with my iPhone 8.
How I do get around this problem?

Deep press the image in the text message that you’d like to save until you see these menu options on-screen: Copy, Save, and More.
Choose Save and that photo should now be in your iPhone’s Photos Apps.

Hi, Sam, I did try deep pressing the image in the text, I never got the menu options.
I wonder if there is some setting that needs to be changed.
I didn’t have this issue with my old iPhone but my iPhone 8 does seem to work.

I found the solution.
When I deep pressed the picture, there was a box with an up arrow at the top upper corner of the screen.
When I clicked on that, I got a bunch of options.
One of them was to save an image.
