When I first got my iPad mini, my first Apple device, I thought it was great. The first thing I did was Facetime my daughter and was very pleased with speed and quality. Now, today, Father’s Day, we were unable to connect. When I go to Settings>Facetime, I get a login screen, so I enter my password and hit “sign in”. Sometimes I get a popup that tells me to sign in again, or, I get a “facetime Activation” pop up that says I “could not sign in, please check network connection…”. Nothing wrong with my network connection because I can use webbrowser or google to get out. Also, I checked for updates: all cool.
One of the troubleshooting tips I read online was to make sure the time is correct. It is, but my TIME ZONE is not discovered by the iPad…the progress indicator runs and runs and runs.
any ideas? I’ve shut it down with the switch and “rebooted”, same thing.
