downloaded the 9.3 for iPad 3rd gen.
system completed the installation and proceeded to activate the device.
i tried several times but have not been able o.
reading instructions how to activate it using iTunes; second instruction requires to disconnect it from iCloud but, I can’t access settings. iPad shows a blank screen and window to select the wifi network.

IPad 2 will not work after IOS 9.3 update, I tried proposed fixes and none of them work. Utilizing ITunes through the computer and it still does not recognize the device. Contacted Apple store and they do not know how to fix it without wiping it out and starting over. Any ideas on how to resurrect my $400 paper weight?

I had the same problem with my iPad 2. Tried all of the above, but with no success. Took it to the local iStore and they had to “Downgrade” it back to 9.2.1. This wipes the unit clean so you need to have backed up your data so that it can be restored.
My machine is working fine now.

I can not believe Apple can release an update without testing it properly. I have not been able to use my iPad since updating it to 9.3 as I can not activate it. I was on the hone to Apple for over 2 hours trying various ways to activate it including iTunes and nothing works. The said they will call me back on Monday. I have not been able use my iPad since Thursday. Will Apple compensate us?

I updated to IOS 9.3 before I wen to bed-what was I thinking? I have ipad 2 GSM. I have tried all the fixes posted, even resorted to the restore, after trying to downgrade to the last IOM update didn’t work either. No surprise, that didn’t even work. I have I have spent three days trying every possible method countless times. Apple had better have an update posted soon to resolve this. I never received a warning to “clean-up” my iPad first, for additional space, or you should probably back up before updating…Lesson learned deep into my personal hard drive.
