I had to replace the digitizer (touch screen) because my son broke it. I replaced it and iPad mini worked fine for a couple of days. Then the LCD started displaying partial images and then it stopped displaying anything. I put a new LCD on, along with a new digitizer, and now it won’t power on at all. I don’t get the Apple logo or the battery charging indicator. I have tried the reset and it didn’t work. I have tried numerous variation with the home button, volume up/down, and power button. iTunes sees the iPad and it charged to 100%. Unfortunately, I don’t have a backup of the iPad mini, I read somewhere about forcing the backup onto the unit. I didn’t think I would need one since my four year old just had games on it. There is no back lighting at all. Any thoughts??
