My iPad p’s Safari app will not respond. A pop up appears saying a security breach has been detected. For help call this Apple number for help. That number was not helpful. She said take it to the Appke store. Well I had hip Relacement surgery and that is not an option right now. Can someone please help.

Sounds like a scam to me. I’m very smart with iOS devices as well as computers, and those popups that show up on safari are 99 percent of the time fake. The numbers are fake as well with people just trying to scam you for your money, or are in your case from the sound of it, trying to get a kick out of scamming you into thinking your iPad is messed up. Dont take that popup seriously. My iPhone 6 does it all the time, and there is no problems with it. They’re fake.

It corrected itself. Shut it down vompletely for 20 minutes and when I turned it on it was gone.
