I have an iPhone 6 and an iPad Air. Both are current with software updates. yesterday I was receiving texts on both devices which is normal…the about an hour later this stopped functioning, and no i hadn’t done anything to any of the devices Turns out the iPad no longer has a bluetooth connection with the iPhone.
I have tried turning both off and on, I tried toggling the bluetooth, airplane mode and wifi on both. I tried forget this device on my iPad (there was nothing to forget on the iPhone). and after each of those things tried rediscovering each. both devices continue to fail to recognize each other.
I am able to pair iPhone with car bluetooth and able to paid iPad with a bluetooth speaker.
I also just realized that my iMac is not receiving/synching text messages either (since yesterday afternoon). Both iPhone and iPad are set up to send & receive messages with the appropriate phone number and email addresses…again text was working up until mid afternoon yesterday.
