What I want to do is delete emails older than a week or two from my iPhone 6s (which has 32Mb of storage) but – very, very important – keep all my emails on my Macbook (which has 500MB of storage, contains literally decades of work and is double-backed-up every week).
I’ve created a test email to see what happens. At the moment if I move it around, delete it etc. on one device it syncs and does the same thing on the other.
Is there a way of decoupling this so that all emails go to both devices, but I can delete some of them on the iPhone but retain all of them, 100% guaranteed, on the Macbook?
