I have an iPad 2. Having installed the latest operating system upgrade, my inbuilt mail application has stopped working.
What I mean by this is that next to my mail icon I see the end circle telling me I have e-mail, but when I click on the icon, all I see is the blank viewing template. Mails are not loaded. Then, after a few seconds, the iPad changes to a black screen which requires the pressing of the recessed button at the side of the screen to re-activate the iPad.
I only have one mail account here and it is an exchange account. It has Ben working fine until the recent operating system upgrade.
I have tried 2 things:
1. Uninstalling and reinstalling the exchange account.
2. Uninstalling the exchange account, resetting the iPad to factory setting status and then reinstalling the exchange account.
Can someone please offer a solution.
