My iphone 3gs is stuck on the iTunes screen. I just bought it and it worked great and it was already jail broke, but had someone elses passwords on it. So I restored the phone and now this is as far as I can get. I tried going into recovery mode but iTunes keeps giving me this message, were sorry, we can not continue with your activation at this time. I don’t know what to do. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Now please dont old me to this but have you tried entering it into dfu mode?
and letting itunes download a fresh ios software?
i may be that the ios software already stored in your itunes folder is only dedicated to another idevice ( That is if you have any other one)
I once had a iphone that i jailbroke but it went wrong ( major error in installing Siri)
It did that same as you either i just had the apple logo or black screen.
if its not giving you the option to download a new ios firmware then locate the original .ipa file.
i believe its in drive/ users / (user)/ appdata / local/ apple ect.
i cannot remember the file directory but its something along those lines.
Sorry i am very vague but this is my own experience, and im no guru when it comes to this sort of thing.
