I was forced to buy a new iPad after my iPad 5, given to mysteriously by my husband from whom I am estranged. He committed identity theft and emptied out my bank acct…not joint…and left me destitute. I found out he’d done so for the last decade out of 23 yrs. and took out fraudulent loans in my name etc.
He gave me an iPhone and iPad right after he moved out…there had been an incident previously while he was at work and I watched in real time as he manipulated my Roku in the WPA/WEP area..he admitted it was him while at work. Then I received a google alert that someone was attempting to log in with an unfamiliar device from Houston where he happened to be.
Since then, a year and half ago I have been hacked countless times. I have about 200 IP addresses just since March 2019 as I ignored them previously not knowing what to do with them. Half of them correspond to an address 3.9 miles from me, others are from golf courses, he happens to be an avid golfer. Lots of language sites coordinating with new woman’s homeland…its hard to believe it isn’t my husband hacking me.
Please don’t tell me iOS devices can’t get hacked. I have replicating cookies in Safari…thousands of screenshots of unfamiliar code like names and urls I’ve never been to.
They tried to add themselves to my apple family share, have paired 3 devices with my Bluetooth, dropped foreign photos in my albums that point to his online serious crimes, not mine. Since I reported him to fbi, I’m not too worried, but I’m sick of being spied on.
Called apple. Although I can set up a new iPad while sleeping, I needed to ensure that the virus(es) or at least the cookies, etc don’t end up in my new device. So I wanted apple to help me avoid that. Advisor was on the line but provided no input…now my new iPad has replicating cookies even though I had dine a factory reset and made sure all cookies were deleted. When I checked it after half a day of non-use, there were two pages of the same familiar cookies.
Anyone have any thoughts on the condition of my new device? Thank you.
