I have an iPad Air 2, iOS 9.3.5
recently I have found, when switching from English to type in Japanese directly into the search bar, the letter K will not convert. I get a capital English letter K, then the following letters will proceed normally into Japanese. I use the romaji input for my iPad. Kana input for my iPhone which has no problem. I set auto-capitalization to turned off, and it shouldn’t matter for Japanese input anyway. I searched both Japanese and English language forums, nobody is having my exact problem. It is only the first letter K, but every time it happens. I will want to type “かきくけこ” for instance, and I get “Kあきくけこ”
I am very frustrated because a lot of words start with K! I don’t want to update iOS, but i guess I will if that is the problem. but it just started randomly one day, after no updates.
