A week ago my laptop has crushed and I have started using another one (in fact, a very old one, with Windows XP, but I guess it has nothing to do with my problem, since Itunes works there perfectly). Before I had started using the ‘new-old’ laptop, things were quite easy: I was using ctrl + O in order to choose files I want to transfer. After using ctrl + O and choosing wanted files, the bar with music, photos etc. were lengthening. The last thing I had to do was to click “sync” at the right side of the bar. And I had the music on my device.
But now things have changed and it doesn’t work like that anymore! I use the ctrl + O option, but all it does is adding music in a separate place. I don’t know how to explain it: it looks like my “new” music couldn’t be added to the same “place” with the older one and, in consequence, I cannot listen to my new music. Everything I can listen to is my ‘old music’ (music I have added before the crush). When I click ctrl + O and choose anything, the bar does not change at all, it does not strengthen nor shorten, nor anything. Like it had two different lives, so to speak.
I was thinking about that weird option “Sync” but it says it will remove my existing music and I don’t want to loose that 10 gb of music I already got. It’s too risky.
Please, help me!
