I found an iPhone 8 Plus in a second-hand couch.
No one ever tried to contact it.
I cannot access anything in/on the phone because it’s “activation locked”.
It’s been quite a while and I would like to know if I can do something that would allow the use of the phone?
Just in case your thinking I stole it, the place where I got the couch is aware and they tried to contact the owner and got no reply. (of course they wouldn’t tell me who the previous owner was)
So…it’s NOT stolen but came by it legally, since was in a property that I purchased. (plus $8 and some change!!!)
I would like some help with this. TY

If an iPhone or any Apple device is showing its in activation lock, there is no official way to unlock it.
There are some third-party sites that claim they can unlock it, but most users find they are a waste of money and don’t do the job.
