I tried to download the Sierra update to my Macbook Air, which was running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5. Internet cut out, and the download stopped. I pressed restart and I can sign in but then it keeps showing a message,
then blacks out, then says “Your computer restarted due to a problem. Press a key or wait a few seconds to continue starting up.
Then it returns to the page where I have to log in. Cannot get past this stage. I do not think I have things backed up either.
Any ideas please. Thank you

I had the same problem. Heading to the Mac store to get it up and running. Any help would be appreciated.
