I got a problem on my Mac which is when I copy some large files to an external drive to free some space and then delete it from my computer space still the same.
Would you please help me with this.

Make sure you shutdown after deleting those files to save space on your internal drive.
Wait a minute or so and then restart.
After the restart, your drive storage numbers should update.

If it doesn’t work, try forcing your Spotlight to re-index your Mac to check files and size:
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences > Spotlight
Click the Privacy tab
Drag the folder or disk that you want to index again to the list of locations that Spotlight is prevented from searching. Or click the Add (+) button and select the disk to add it
From the same list of locations, select that disk that you just added
Now choose the Remove (–) button to remove it from the list
Quit System Preferences
Spotlight reindexes the contents of your disk
It’s always a good idea to back up your Mac before you re-index it.
