After new update, Text Replacement under Keyboard which is under settings is working only on a selective few phrases. I have about 30 set up for quick pre set messsages that is supposed to work across my Mac, IPAD and IPhone. Only about 3 are working and the other 27 no longer generate the phrase, for instance, I can type in ijm and that will generate a msg I just missed your phone call and will call you back in about 30 min. These short cuts create great efficiency and would love to get it back up and running 100%. This is not the auto text when getting a call but TEXT REPLACEMENT in the SETTINGS ——>Keyboard—->TEXT REPLACEMENT function. Any updates or feedback to resolve will be repaid in great Karma for you 🙂 thx Kieffer

Kevin,i had this problem once after updating to iOS 10. What helped is signing in out of my iCloud account multiple times. It appears that for some reason the information does not sync across devices and logging out of iCloud and logging back in a couple of times, it started to slowly bring back all the shortcuts. hope it helps.

After the update to iOS12, apple set a limit on the text replacement shortcuts. I wrote a post for a workaround https://timleland.com/text-replacement-not-working-ios12/
Hopefully this helps.

After the update to iOS12, many users report that Apple set a limit on the text replacement shortcuts to less than 128 characters.
Try shortening the text replacement phrases you currently have or create new ones at less than 128 characters and see if they work.
