I just bought a used Mac. While checking out the SuperDrive, my drive started skipping. I could not get the drive to stopping trying to play. I tried to close the drive, but it wouldn’t respond. I finally turned off the computer. After starting it back up, I hit eject. The disk came out. The screen was black and the computer never responded. I turned it off again and upon restart, I had the whit screen with the file folder with question mark. I tried the various reboots as suggested in forum. Nothing worked. One person said they got their Mac to restart by holding down the alt key while restarting. I did guys and now have a white screen with a lock icon. When I enter my password and press the arrow, I get nothing. Any ideas to try?
