[UPDATE: Apple has now posted a press release stating that the iPad will be delivered to early buyers on April 30. Still, some readers report a quoted ship date of April 23. ]
We’ve received notes from a few readers indicating receipt of iPad 3G shipment notices from Apple. The same readers report that Apple has charged debit/credit cards for the orders–usually a sign of shipment. Some users state that the notice indicates a receive date of April 23rd.
Other users are receiving notices that state:
“To Our Valued Apple Customer: Thank you for your recent order of the magical and revolutionary iPad 3G. We would like to confirm that your order will be shipped in late April as communicated at the time you placed your order. You will receive a confirmation notice when your order has shipped.”
