Several people have reported that they are running into problems while trying the Siri voice assistant feature. The problem occurs when users ask Siri to carry out a task and Siri will reply with, for instance:
“Sorry, I’m having trouble connecting to the network.”
“What was that again?”
“Sorry, something has gone wrong. Can you try that again?”
“Sorry, I did not get that.”
“Uh oh. Something is wrong. Can you try again?”
The Fix:
- Disable Siri (Settings > General)
- Turn iPhone 4S off completely
- Turn your iPhone 4S back on and re-enable Siri.
If Siri is still not working, it may be that Apple’s servers have been overloaded by new iPhone owners heavily using the service with requests, considering that Apple sold over four million of its new iPhone 4S just three days after its launch.
