By SK 0 comments Last updated June 7, 2017

This week, Stanford University’s center of Digital health announced the winners of the Apple Watch Research grant program.

Stanford Digital Health

The Apple Watch Seed Research Grant Program invited proposals from Stanford faculty and instructors to stimulate creative and innovative uses of the Apple Watch in healthcare.

Backed by Stanford University and the ingenuity of Silicon Valley, the Digital center strives to advance digital health through collaboration and exploration.

Apple Watches and seed grant funding have been awarded to five project teams.

The 5 Projects that were chosen for the seed grant funding are:

  • Harnessing Mindset in Health Technology
  • ReClaim, A virtual therapist for Stroke Patient Arm Recovery
  • Exploring AI approach to support adherence behaviors in Psychiatric Clinical care
  • Stop,Watch : Reducing Hyperactivity and Supporting attention for youth with ADHD
  • Individualized Migraine attack prevention with Self Reported and Passively Collected Data

These programs appear to be ground breaking and show the significance of digital health as it can be applied with Apple Watch.

Congratulations to All the Winners!

We at AppleToolBox would also like to commend and congratulate the Stanford team that is spearheading this great initiative at the Center for Digital Health. We look forward to many more interesting projects that can change how we think about digital health care in the future.
