You do the right thing by renewing your subscription to Apple Music, instead of illegally downloading music, and that annoying banner that wants you to subscribe won’t go away. Luckily, there are some easy fixes to that, which we’ll go into below.
How to Remove the Apple Music Trial Banner
You actually have a few options for this one. Some people report having success by simply logging out of their Apple ID and then logging back in.
You would log out of your Apple ID by:
- Go to Settings.
- Tap on your name at the top, like on the screen below:
- Scroll all the way to the bottom, where you can tap Sign Out:
- You may be prompted to enter your Apple ID password.
- Tap Turn Off.
To log back into your Apple ID:
Go back to settings, where it will give you an option at the top reading Sign in to your iPhone. Select that and then follow the prompts to put in your Apple ID information.
Other Methods
Some people also report success by simply rebooting their iPhone. Fully shut off the iPhone so that it powers down in however your model requires you to do this (the models all work very differently now). Wait several seconds and then turn the phone back on.
To help get the issue resolved permanently, you might also want to give the official Apple Music page some feedback explaining the issue so the developers can work on finding a way to avoid this in the future.
