There are two ways to create a blank home screen on iPad or iPhone
You need a computer with the latest version of iTunes installed to be able to do this.
Here is how:
- Connect your device to your computer with the USB cable and open iTunes.
- Click on your device name under the Devices menu.
3.Choose the apps menu where you will see all of the apps installed on your device.
4.Click on the plus button. This will create a new home screen page on your device. But for now, this page is the last page/screen.
5. Now simply drag the page you just created in the first place. Now Page 1 is a blank screen.
6.Click the Apply button so that these changes happen on your iPad or iPhone.
Now your first screen is blank. No app icons except the ones on the dock.
Method # 2
You do not need a computer for this method. This one requires you to create a folder. Here is how:
1.On your device, press the home button to go to the first screen and put all the apps on the first screen into a folder. Do do this, tap on any app icon until it starts to jiggle, then drop that app onto another one by keeping your finger pressed down on the icon and moving it on the screen. This method creates a folder. Now using the same approach, place all of the apps into this folder. Press the home button to stop the apps from jiggling.
2. Now move this folder to your second page. To do this, tap and hold on the folder until it starts to jiggle. Now move this to the edge of the screen, your folder goes to the second screen. Then press the home button. If you want, you may take all the apps out of the folder on the second screen, or you can keep it like that. Now your first page is blank/empty.
