Question: When I visit www.icloud.com on my iPad (or iPhone), I do not see any login options to sign into icloud
The only options I see are: Set up iCloud on this device, install Find My iPhone, install Find My Friends. Where is the option to sign into icloud? Why is there no log-in button?
I would like to log into icloud.com from my iPhone or iPad.
How can I sign into icloud.com on my iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch, is there any way?
Answer: iCloud.com’s website is not designed to be used with a mobile device but we have a workaround
You may sign into icloud using a web browser on your computer (PC or Mac). The reason behind this is that Apple sees no real reason to log into your account from your iOS device as you have access to all of your iCloud account’s content on your iOS device already.
But There is a Mobile iCloud Login Work Around!
You work around this by accessing iCloud.com on your iPad, iPhone, or other iOS device by using a browser other than Mobile Safari.
Google Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Mercury browsers are good choices. There are other browsers as well, check out the app store for more browser options.
I’ll outline a couple options below. The techniques work for most browsers. Just remember to NOT use Safari as Apple does not allow iCloud logins from it.
Google Chrome (iOS): How to access iCloud.com
Launch Chrome and visit https://www.icloud.com/ and force it to show you the desktop version, by tapping on the “Request Desktop Site” menu option. Now you may see the icloud.com desktop version and you can login as usual.
Mercury browser will also open iCloud.com and allow you to login. Launch Mercury and visit https://www.icloud.com/ then go to Settings > Functions > Identify Browser as and select Safari (Mac OSX).
Using browsers other than safari on your iDevice makes the iCloud server think you are accessing iCloud.com from a desktop Mac. And that is what lets you login to iCloud.com!
Hope this tip helps. Let us know in the comments if you have any other ways to login into iCloud.com from your iDevices.
